We would like to introduce ourselves to you:
Linda Timmermans

Linda Timmermans

Born in 1983 in Assen, mother of Camilla (2011) and Aurora (2014)

I got my first vegetable garden when I was six, and since then I have designed and laid out many different nutrient-rich gardens. Food can grow anywhere if we make room for it. In addition to private gardens, I have also created neighborhood gardens, grown food at companies and restaurants, planted picking strips in neighborhoods, designed and realized edible ornamental gardens and food forests for individuals.

Nature and community have always been the most important values in my life. Together with The Greenman Project I founded 'De Meewerkplaats'. A workshop where we gave local young people with different problems the opportunity to work in the wood and metal workshop, the studio, the garden or in the kitchen and thus discover what made them happy. Young people who saw no place for themselves in society regained hope and meaning and discovered qualities that had never come to light before.

Born in 1977 on Texel, mother of Leah (2003) and Lois (2007)

As a midwife, mother, coach, therapist, entrepreneur and director, I have been able to supervise many different processes. I am a great lover of life and a bridge builder in heart and soul. As a midwife I learned to act when it is really necessary, but above all to give nature the confidence (back) to do its job by not acting and only being supportive. In this space great transformation, healing and health unfold. I also treat myself and nature in the same respectful way. For the past 5 years I have been asked to represent midwifery care as director positions at urban and rural tables, with the aim of preserving the value of the unique Dutch birth care and increasing the quality and freedom of choice within the care. Within The Earth Collective I use my qualities and experience to restore the coexistence of people and nature to a healthy and regular form of life.

Born in 1975 in Utrecht

As a child I climbed the apple tree and watched my father and grandfather worked hard every year in the vegetable garden. Even then I thought this could be done differently, these delicious apples grow by themselves.
As a permaculture specialist, I have been involved in all aspects of a sustainable lifestyle and food supply for years. My life's goal: To transform the earth into an edible paradise.
In my daily life I design and support the creation of edible landscapes and food forests. During planting I like to share my knowledge about all the goodies that can grow in a food forest, I have a great passion for food forests with a public character, for example at schools, neighbourhoods, festivals or course centers.
Since 2012 I have been actively involved in the development of ecovillages in the Netherlands from GEN (Global Ecovillage Network) and I have been closely involved in various initiatives (including The Living Village).

Founder and partner of Economy Transformers. As a trainer/teacher within our business school where I provide various training courses alone and together with my life partner Jac. Including the Contemporary Ownership of Land training and the Part-Society training in addition to the basic Art of Living together course, where I provide research into free, equal, together. I supervise various Communities of Practice (land and energy) and like to support and coach companies and communities with their concrete transformation questions about how to move from new principles on, for example, ownership, cooperation and value and profit creation to new structures in line with this in practice .
Within Economy Transformers we focus on developing new forms of exchange and allocation of land, labor and capital. Based on this interest, we actively cooperate with Foundation Grond van Bestaan, the vault for land that has been removed from the trade and from the money system and has been taken into triple ownership. In 2022 my first book "Vrij, Gelijk & Samenleven" was published.
I love ice skating, preferably on natural ice. I am very happy mother of two lovely children, Abel and Christina and the three children of Jac who live away from home. I live with Jac in a residential community in Almere Oosterwold where we have built our own sustainable house.

After 14 years of working in accountancy and business, I started to walk the path of awareness. This brought me healing and insight into my high sensitivity, into myself and from this experience I started coaching children and adults. By following my intuition, I went to live in 3 living and working communities and that is where my passion for new ways of living and working together arose. New ways based on living from your heart in connection with others and working together from equality and alignment with the whole.
In these places I have been able to add a lot with my accounting knowledge. In addition to practical help with setting up and arranging the administration, also through the combination with awareness questions. Accounting tells a story, I read it and ask questions; make the link with the vision, which creates more clarity and clarity for the organization. It makes me happy to support innovative initiatives and existing projects in this way and to help find suitable forms in today's society. Nature is a place of coming home to me, especially walking in it brings me into contact with who I really am. And I am extremely grateful for my lovely daughters, who made me look in the mirror at the time.
